PRIMA Québec is pleased to announce a $273,000 grant for a project aimed at the industrial validation of cold spray additive manufacturing for targeted applications in the surface transportation, aerospace, automotive, and plastics industries. The $1,371,000 project will be carried out by Éric Irissou’s team at the NRC, in collaboration with industrial partners including 5N Plus, Active Industrial Solutions, I. Thibault, Integrity Tool, M.I. Intégration, Nuclear Waste Management Organization, Polycontrols, Tecnar Automation, Tekna Plasma Systems, Equisphere, Bombardier Transportation, Plasma Giken, and Hydro-Québec. The expected results could provide a significant competitive advantage for companies that adopt this technology.
