This call for proposals is open to companies from Canada and Germany who wish to perform joint R&amp;D leading to technology commercialization focused on developing innovative products, processes, or technology-based services in all technological and application areas which have strong market potential.<\/p>\n<p>The National Research Council of Canada (NRC) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) will provide access to public funding for joint projects through the BMWK&#8217;s ZIM program (Central Innovation Program for SMEs) in Germany, and through the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC\u00a0IRAP) in Canada.<\/p>\n<p>Canadian registration deadline:\u00a0<strong class=\"nowrap\">April 2, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Canadian expression of interest deadline:\u00a0<strong class=\"nowrap\">April 16, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>German optional project sketch deadline:\u00a0<strong class=\"nowrap\">May 7, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>International consortium project proposal deadline:\u00a0<strong class=\"nowrap\">June 18, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n<a href='https:\/\/nrc.canada.ca\/en\/irap\/about\/international\/?action=view&#038;id=228?utm_campaign=irapint-opportunityzimcall' class='small-button smallblue' target=\"_blank\">Information<\/a>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Working together, the Government of Canada and the Government of Germany aim to foster and support collaborative industrial research and development (R&amp;D) projects with high potential for commercialization.
