The QuantERA<\/a> program is a European network of 35 funding agencies from 29 countries. QuantERA supports excellence in research and innovation in quantum technologies (QT).<\/p>\n The objectives of the Program are to:<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.15.1″ header_text_color=”#ffffff” header_2_text_color=”#00395d” header_2_font_size=”30px” header_4_text_color=”#fcaf17″ header_4_font_size=”17px” custom_margin=”||45px|||” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n To support collaborative research and development (R&D) in the quantum technologies sector, PROMPT and PRIMA Qu\u00e9bec are joining forces to offer Quebec academic institutions a new call for quantum projects within the framework of the international PSO.<\/p>\n The PSO-International contributes to supporting the international action of Quebec actors from the university, college, institutional and industrial sectors working in the various niches of research and innovation.<\/p>\n To this end, the Ministry of Economy, Innovation and Energy (MEIE) supports PRIMA Qu\u00e9bec and Prompt in their participation in the QuantERA 2023 call. As part of this call, 29 European and non-European countries participate with a preliminary total budget of approximately \u20ac33 million.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.15.1″ header_text_color=”#ffffff” header_2_text_color=”#00395d” header_2_font_size=”30px” header_4_text_color=”#fcaf17″ header_4_font_size=”17px” custom_margin=”||45px|||” hover_enabled=”0″ global_colors_info=”{}” sticky_enabled=”0″ custom_padding=”||0px|||”]<\/p>\n The submitted proposals are expected to be aligned with one of the two QuantERA Call 2023 streams:<\/p>\n Quantum Phenomena and Resources (QPR)<\/p>\n Applied Quantum Science (AQS)<\/p>\n Only projects that fall under the Applied Quantum Science (AQS) stream are eligible for Prompt and PRIMA Quebec.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n PRIMA Qu\u00e9bec and Prompt only support projects in the Applied Quantum Science(AQS) stream; the QuantERA call for projects covers a wider area.<\/p>\n Contact a PRIMA or Prompt advisor to check the eligibility of the project according to PRIMA rules.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The deadline for submitting project proposals is May 11, 2023 (11 a.m. Montreal time; 5 p.m. Brussels time)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n In accordance with its strategic plan, PRIMA Qu\u00e9bec encourages the submission of projects concerning the development of advanced materials applied to Qu\u00e9bec’s key sectors, such as transport and infrastructure, energy, the environment, textiles, electronics and health.<\/p>\n Targeted technologies by this call for projects concern all types of application sectors.
