To support collaborative research and development (R & D) in advanced materials, PRIMA Qu\u00e9bec is launching a new call for projects. This funding program was designed to help establish collaborations between industry and the research community (universities, CCTT or public research centers).<\/p>\n
Advanced material can be defined as any new or significantly improved material or material that provides a significant performance advantage (physical or functional) compared to commonly used conventional materials.<\/p>\n
Submitted projects must clearly present the impact of the projects on research, training and economic development.<\/p>\n

In accordance with its strategic plan, PRIMA Qu\u00e9bec encourages the submission of projects concerning the development of advanced materials applied to Quebec’s key sectors, such as transportation and infrastructure, energy, environment, textiles, electronics and health \u2026<\/p>\n
The technologies targeted by this call for projects concern all types of application sectors:<\/p>\n
Eligible applicants<\/strong>: Applications must be submitted by Quebec research institutions. Universities, CCTTs, or public research centers are eligible (Link to recognized research centers<\/a> and eligible research consortia<\/a>).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Letter of intent: October 26, 2026 before noon<\/strong> Submitting projects: December 7, 2026 before noon<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Results announced: March 2027<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n <\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Financial component: Innovation projects in partnership with a public research centre<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Circular Economy<\/strong><\/p>\n To be in line with the objective of the roadmap, for a project submission to PRIMA Qu\u00e9bec, it is obligatory that one of the project objectives concerns the circular economy. See Appendix C of the guide for the definition of circular economy. Obviously for certain projects, for example in health, quantum, instrumentation, the link with the circular economy would be difficult, exceptions could be requested from PRIMA. This must be requested when the letter of intent is submitted. See the guide for more informations.<\/p>\n
